Defender Tokens
PassGo provides a number of electronic security devices or tokens for use with the Defender product. This page covers the four hardware token types that are available.
 Defender Go-1 Token
PassGo Defender Go-1 Token
The Defender Go-1 token from PassGo offers the ultimate in user-friendly high security. With a simple click, the Defender Go-1 is opened and displays a unique one-time password on a high contrast LCD display. All that needs to be done is to read it and enter it into the Defender prompt wherever the user may be.

The token offers the user the choice between carrying it in a pocket, around the neck for moving within the company, on a keyring so as not to forget it in the morning or clipped to a belt like a mobile phone.

The token is very light (only 29 grams) and has an expected battery lifetime of five years.

 Defender One Token
PassGo Defender One Token
The Defender One token has a two line LCD display and a twelve key keypad. The token requires users to have the physical token and to know a personal identification number (PIN) before the one-time password can be generated.

The passwords are generated on the token with a standards-based,
three-variable algorithm.

The device used to program the Defender One token (the Defender One coupler) is also available from PassGo.

The Defender Hand-Held Token has a flip top that reveals the display and twelve buttons beneath. Again, the user is required to have the physical token and to know a personal identification number (PIN) to generate the one-time password.

PassGo  Defender SmartCard Gold
The Defender SmartCard Gold is a smart card that is loaded with ActivCard Gold software and then is capable of using either synchronous or asynchronous authentication by entering a PIN. The ActivCard Gold software also provides a set of non-Defender functionality including PKI key generation, digital certificate storage and static password storage.

The device used to read the SmartCard Gold token (the SmartCard Gold serial reader) is also available from PassGo.
